While most items can be shipped via pallet, there are specific safe transportation standards that must be met.

When it comes to shipping leakable goods and liquids on a pallet across the UK, there are certain safe transportation standards that must be met. Liquids, adhesives, paints, engines, generators or other mechanical parts that have been contaminated with oil cannot be shipped unless they are entirely flushed and dried. Drivers will need access to the dipstick, and if any oil is present, the engine will not be collected.

The below items are not considered suitable for transportation via pallet.

  • Liquids
  • Adhesives
  • Paints
  • Engines, generators, or other mechanical parts that have been contaminated with oil, unless entirely flushed and dried - drivers will need access to the dipstick, and if any oil is present, the engine will not be collected.
