Delivering and Sending Pallets to Amazon

Amazon has changed the way in which pallet deliveries are booked. Amazons CARP system is no longer available for booking deliveries.

In order for Amazon to accept pallets, they must be booked in via the palletways delivery depot. You can do this through Pallet Expert as we are a direct access point to the palletways network. This makes us one of the few pallet delivery companies which facilitate sending pallets to amazon. 

This means that when you send a pallet to Amazon, they have stipulated that you must use the ASN number as the main consignment number. This also means that a Signed or stamped 'Proof of Delivery' (POD) will not be acknowledged by Amazon. Delivery of your pallet is only confirmed as such when it is booked into the amazon inventory system.

If you are sending to Amazon with Pallet Expert, all deliveries will need to be manifested as an economy delivery. As a result, a timed delivery charge will need to be added separately for the consignment. Only the delivery depot can book the goods in.

Booking Instructions:

1. Select Economy delivery.
2. Select a TIMED delivery and choose 10:00. Although, as the delivery will be consolidated, it wont be hitting that slot. The delivering depot requires a TIMED fee and because of this, so we therefore need to add a TIMED surcharge.
3. In the notes field, please provide the following information so that the depot can book the delivery in:
   • Number of pallets
   • Amount of cartons
   • Number of units
   • The purchase order number (if applicable)
   • Name of vendor
